You can download foreign forms as PDF or XML files. Forms 926, 5471, 8621, 8865, 8886 and 8858 are available.    ### **Before you begin** - Check the filer name and EIN. If they are not entered on the form, K1 Aggregator uses the instance name and identifying number from the instance settings (**General**). - Enter answers on each form you want to download. Only transferees that have saved form answers are exported. - For Form 5471, fill in every row in the schedule tables. An empty table row can cause the PDF to fail. **GoSystem:** download the XML and attach it with the Third Party XML tool in GoSystem. See **How to Integrate Foreign Forms with GoSystem**. **ONESOURCE Income Tax:** use **Validate and Download All Forms to XML for OIT** or **Validate and Download Merged Forms to XML for OIT**. They produce the XML in the format OIT expects. **CCH Axcess:** foreign forms are not integrated. ### **Download PDFs** 1. Open **Foreign Forms** in the left navigation, or open an investment and select the **Foreign Disclosure Forms** tab. 2. Select **Download Foreign Forms**. 3. Select **Download Completed Forms to PDF** or **Download All Forms to PDF**. Both export the forms that have saved answers. 4. A message says that K1 Aggregator is generating the forms. When the file is ready, a **Foreign Form Generation Complete** notification appears. 5. Open the notification to download the file. The download is a zip file that contains one merged PDF. To download one form, select **Download PDF** on the transferee row, or **Download as PDF** on the transferee form. ### **Download XML** 1. Select **Download Foreign Forms**. 2. Select **Validate and Download Completed Forms to XML**, **Validate and Download All Forms to XML**, or **Validate and Download Merged Forms to XML**. 3. On an instance for a Form 1120 return, you are asked whether to include the 1120 tax return information in the XML. Choose your option. 4. When the **Foreign Form Generation Complete** notification appears, open it. The **XML Validation Results** window lists any errors against the IRS schema, or says **No validation errors found.** 5. Select **Download XML**. You can download the file even if validation errors are listed. To download XML for one form, select **Validate and Download XML** on the transferee row, or **Validate and Download as XML** on the transferee form. ### Send forms to tax software Status reports Select **Download Status Report** to get a status report for the form. Status reports are available for Forms 926, 5471, 8621, 8865 and 8886. ### If the file does not download If a **Foreign Form Generation Failed** notification appears, try again.
