K1x Release: K1 Creator - 04/09/2026

Check out the following changes that have been introduced as part of this K1x release.

What Changed

  • Allocation Codes – Default Allocation Code — Users can now designate a default allocation code for both Amount and Percent code types. The default is clearly indicated in the UI and can be changed or cleared at any time.
  • K-1 Packager – Watermark Priority — When forms are in a "Not Final" status, the "Not Final" watermark now always takes priority over any user-selected watermark, ensuring only one watermark appears on K-1 PDF outputs.

Fixes (Bugs / Stability)

Entities

  • Entity Upload — Resolved an issue where manually created entities disappeared from the Entities list after uploading a template with additional entities; manually created entities are now preserved.
  • Entity Upload Template (US Federal Section) — Corrected field type mismatches between the Entity Upload Template and K1 Creator for three fields in the US Federal section, ensuring consistent data entry behavior across both experiences.

Allocation Codes

  • Allocation Codes – Default Code — Fixed an issue where the first uploaded allocation code was automatically and permanently set as the default with no way to change it. Users can now manage the default allocation code freely.
  • Allocation Codes – Percentage Calculation — Fixed a calculation error where a percentage-based code placed next to a dollar-based code displayed raw values instead of computing the correct dollar output.

Project Information

  • Project Information – Associated Users — Fixed a visual issue where the Associated Users section briefly disappeared when editing fields in Project Information; the section now remains visible and stable during edits.
