990 Tracker

What Changed

New State Forms Available

  • Colorado e-file support – Colorado Forms DR 0990 and DR 112 are now available for electronic filing.
  • Missouri forms now available – All Missouri forms are now available in this release.
  • Tennessee forms now available – All Tennessee forms are now available in this release.

Fixes (bugs/stability)

Federal Forms – Form 8949

  • Form 8949 (2025) – All 15 data rows now appear in the generated PDF – Due to a change in the 2025 IRS PDF format entries in rows 11–15 were not printing. The PDF mapping has been updated so all entered rows flow correctly across pages.
  • Form 8949 – Negative value formatting is now consistent across all pages – Negative amounts in the Gain or (Loss) column were displayed with a minus sign on page 1 and in parentheses on page 2 of the PDF. Formatting is now consistent throughout the document.

State Instruction Links

  • 2024 state instruction links now open the correct year's instructions – Links in the State Module were incorrectly routing users to 2025 instructions when working on 2024 engagements. This has been corrected.

California

  • CA Form 199 – Line totals now calculate correctly without requiring a page refresh – Values entered on Page 2, Part II, Line 18 were not immediately reflected on Page 1, Part I, Line 9 until the user navigated away and returned. Totals now update in real time.

Colorado

  • Colorado e-file signature form updated to DR-8454 – The Colorado electronic filing authorization document has been corrected to use Form DR-8454 instead of the previously used Form 8879-SO.

Illinois

  • IL-990-T ZIP codes now print correctly – When a ZIP code was entered, the first digit was being dropped in the generated PDF. The full ZIP code now prints correctly.

Iowa

  • IA 1120 – Itemized Other Receipts schedule now prints in PDF – The schedule for Itemized Other Receipts on Form IA 1120 (Page 5, Line 11) was present in the underlying data but was not appearing in the generated PDF. This applies to the 2023, 2024, and 2025 tax years. The schedule now prints correctly.

New Mexico

  • NM CIT-1 – Tax due amount now matches what is submitted to the state – A discrepancy between the tax due shown in 990 Tracker and the amount reflected in the return accepted by New Mexico has been resolved. The state percentage field now transmits correctly in the e-file submission.

North Carolina

  • NC CD-405 – Missing schedules restored – Schedules B, C, and G, along with several lines in Part B, were not displaying on the North Carolina CD-405 form. All missing sections are now visible and accessible.
