Fixes (Bugs / Stability)

Federal Forms

  • Form 990, Schedule O — Resolved an issue where the Schedule O checkbox in Part IX was incorrectly checked in the PDF when no line item notes or responses were present in Part IX.
  • Form 990, Schedule O — Resolved a regression where Schedule O did not render correctly in the PDF when the explanation field was left blank (2025 tax year).
  • Form 990, Part VII (Master Compensation) — Resolved an issue where a current employee entry was missing from Part VII when an individual had both current and former employment entries across multiple related organizations in a Master Compensation scenario.
  • Form 990, Schedule C — Resolved an issue in Part II-A, Lines 1d and 1e, Column (b) where data for affiliated group entries was concatenating into a single number rather than totaling correctly in the PDF and XML.
  • Form 990, Schedule B — Resolved an issue where the 2024 import template restricted the "Type of Contribution" field to a single selection via dropdown; multiple contribution types can now be entered.
  • Form 990-T, Schedule A, Part X — Resolved an issue where the percentage of time field for officer compensation did not accept decimal values; fractional entries are now supported.
  • Form 990-T, Part II, Line 5 (Schedule I – Trusts) — Resolved a data flow lag where Schedule I tax amounts did not populate on the 990-T until the user navigated to Schedule I and allowed it to fully load.
  • Form 8879-TE, Part II — Resolved an issue where the "I am an officer of the above entity" checkbox and the ERO Signature and date in Part III were not populating in the generated PDF when Digital Signature was set to Yes.
  • Form 990 / 990-T / 990-PF — Digital Signature (Signature Blocks) — Resolved an issue where the organization signer's name and title were printing in the signature block when Digital Signature was marked Yes; the client signature block should remain blank in these cases.
  • Form 4136 — Resolved an e-file validation failure caused by punctuation characters in the Organization Name field that fell outside the allowed XML schema pattern; non-permitted characters are now sanitized before submission.
  • Form 990, Validation — Corrected an incorrect validation reference that directed users to Part VI instead of Part VII.
  • Transmittal Letter — Resolved a formatting issue where text formatting applied in the UI (indentation, bullets, etc.) was not rendering correctly in the generated PDF.

State Forms

    • California — CA Form 109
      • Resolved an e-file validation error where the Corporation/Organization Name field triggered a Max Length: 70 error despite the name being under 70 characters.
      • Resolved an issue in Schedule H, Part III, Column B where the periodical name was displaying as "Consolidated Periodical" instead of the user-entered periodical name.
    • California — CA Form 199 — Resolved an issue where a blank CA 3885 was being included in the XML submission when the client selected "only file page 1" and no depreciation was being reported.

    • Alabama — AL 20-C — Resolved an issue where the phone number on Page 1 of the 2024 PDF was missing a hyphen in the formatting.
    • Oregon — OR 20 — Resolved an issue where the form name was missing from the filing instructions in the generated PDF.
    • Hawaii — N-70P — Resolved formatting issues where the zip code override, FEIN, and telephone number fields were not displaying correctly in the PDF.
    • Colorado — Form CO 112 — Resolved an e-file validation error that incorrectly required a preparer first name when a firm (rather than an individual) was listed as the paid preparer (2024 and 2025 tax years).
