[Release Notes](https://support.k1x.io/general?hsLang=en-us#release-notes) May 7, 2026 # K1x Release: 990 Tracker - 05/07/2026 ## Check out the following changes that have been introduced as part of this K1x release.   **990 Tracker - Release Notes** --- **What Changed** **Fixes (Bugs / Stability)** - **Package Printing — Transmittal Letter** — Resolved an issue where generating a Transmittal Letter during package printing resulted in a "Form generation failed" error. Transmittal Letters now generate successfully. **Federal Forms** - **Form 990-T, Part III, Line 1c** — Corrected the General Business Credit calculation to include Form 3800, Part IV, Column (g) in addition to Form 3800, Part III, Column (i). - Additionally resolved a prior-year issue where Line 1c was pulling from Form 3800, Part II, Line 30 instead of the correct Line 38. - **Form 990-T, Schedule D (Trust), Part V, Line 42** — Updated the tax rate schedule used in the Line 42 calculation to correctly apply the 2025 Tax Rate Schedule for Estates and Trusts. - **Form 990-EZ** — Resolved an issue preventing diagnostics and e-file validation tools from running on 990-EZ returns. **State Forms** - **California — CA Form 199, Part II** — Fixed the "Suppress Part II and attach Form 990 as a statement" checkbox, which was not correctly suppressing Part II data from flowing to Line 9 in the UI. - **Iowa — E-file Attachments** — Corrected the document type dropdown for Iowa e-file attachments, which was only showing "Annualized Schedule" instead of the full list of options including "Federal Return" and "Other." -
