Check out the following changes that have been introduced as part of this K1x release.

990Tracker - Release Notes What Changed

Fixes (Bugs/Stability)

Federal Forms

  • Form 990-EZ — Part III, Line 29 program service description now renders with the correct line label (29) in PDF output; previously both Line 28 and Line 29 entries were labeled as Line 28.
  • Form 990-T — Part III, Lines 10, 11a, and 11b UI display corrected to match the PDF and XML output.
  • Form 4720 — Schedule O, field (f) Net Investment Income now correctly accepts and floors negative values to zero at both the row level and in the total row; column (d) and column (f) total calculations corrected.
  • Schedule O — Organization name now renders in all caps in the PDF consistent with the rest of the return when the all-caps setting is enabled.

State Forms

  • Arkansas — Form AR1100CT — Schedule B, Line 1 now updates in real time when underlying data changes; previously required a page refresh to reflect the correct value.
  • California — Form 109 — Interest statement no longer generates in the PDF when Part II, Line 18 has been set to zero at the state level. This fix applies to both the 2024 and 2025 tax years.
  • California — Form 109 — Form now functions correctly for existing engagements in addition to new ones.
  • California — Form CA-109 — E-file status report now correctly labels CA-109 filings; previously CA-109 entries were mislabeled as CA199 in the report.
  • Montana — Form CIT — Page 4, Line 15 (overpayment to be applied to estimated tax) is now an active, editable field; previously the field was grayed out and non-interactive.
  • Oregon — Form OR-20 — Schedule ES Footer section (including the SignatureInd element) is now correctly generated in the XML output, resolving a schema validation error on filing.
  • Oregon — Form OR-20 — Page 2, Lines A–C no longer auto-populate when a prior-year return exists and the information is unchanged; fields now populate only for first-year filings or when the data has changed.
  • State E-file Authorization Forms — E-file authorization forms are now accessible for Idaho Form 41, Missouri Form MO-1120, Montana Form CIT, North Carolina Form CD-405, and North Dakota Form 40.
