K1x Release - 10/14/2025
Please review the following changes that have been introduced as part of this K1x release.
990 Tracker
Features
- Form 990, Schedule E: This release improves the flow of data for Schedule E when the input exceeds the number of lines available on the PDF.
- Form 990, Schedule J, Part II, Row 16: This release adjusts the text displayed on the PDF for clarity when user input flows to supplemental pages.
- Form 990, Part VIII, Line 1g: With this release noncash contribution from Schedule M will automatically flow to Part VIII, Line 1g.
Bug Fixes
- Form 990, Schedule R, Part II: The text for "401(a)" within the drop down for column d to select the Exempt Code Section has been adjusted to indicate the correct code section.
- Form 990-PF, Part VII: With this release the average number of hours displayed on the PDF now rounds to two decimal places.
- Form 8936, Schedule A, Part V: With this release Line 22 has been adjusted to use the proper percentage (15% or 30%) based on the answer to line 18c.
- State Attachment Workpapers and Additional Statements: This release addresses an issue with the printing of workpapers and additional statements for states.
- California Form 109, Validation: This release addresses an issue with electronic filing for the California Form 109 that occurred when Schedule I, C or the 3805 NOL had values equal to zero but failed to validate referencing missing elements.
- California Form 109, Schedule D: This release corrects the rounding for column I of Schedule D.
- California Form 109, Schedule I: This release adjusts the statements produced for Schedule I to correctly report the data in the proper columns listed on the form.
- Colorado Form CO 112: With this release preparer address fields are reflected on the PDF when overridden on the user input.
- North Carolina, Form CD-405, Validation: This release addresses validation errors that occurred when CD-405, Page 4, Line 1, Item (h) or Line 3, Item (g) were equal to 0.
- North Carolina, Form CD-405, Schedule I, Line 1b: With this release Schedule I, line 1b has been adjusted to reflect line 9 x 5% when the amount on Schedule B, line 9 is > 0, per the form instructions.
- North Carolina, Form CD-405, Paid Preparer: This release addresses a validation issue that occurred when no paid preparer was selected.
- North Dakota Form 40, Paid Preparer: This release addresses an issue with saving of data that occurred when making changes to authorized paid preparer options.
- Tennessee Form FAE170, Schedule M: With this release Schedule M Line10 is limited to not be less than zero.
- Washington D.C., Form D-20, Validation: This release addresses a validation error that occurred when Schedule B or Schedule I contained no data.
- Oregon Form CT-12F, Section II, Line 14: With this release the line 14 fee is properly limited to $2,000, when applicable.
