K1 Aggregator - Release Notes

What Changed

  • State K-1 Modifications — Resurfaced and redesigned the Modifications UI to include a dropdown menu for modification additions.

Fixes (Bugs / Stability)

Federal Forms

  • Form 8865 — Fixed UI issues where transferee information (Name, Address, EIN, Reference #, Country) was not flowing to the correct form lines (G1, G2(a), G2(b), Line 3) when adding a new 8865.
  • Form 926 / Form 5471 — Fixed an issue where selecting the Form 926 or Form 5471 checkbox in Foreign Disclosure Forms auto-selected the same checkbox for all rows sharing the same Transferee Name. Checkboxes now apply only to the selected row.
  • 1099 Gain Loss Statement — Fixed an issue where edits and new lines added to the 1099 Gain Loss (1099-B) grid were not saving.

CCH Integration

  • CCH State Data — Fixed an issue where state data did not populate in CCH after a successful integration.
  • CCH 199A / QBI Sync — Fixed an issue where syncing 199A data to CCH generated excessive autoflow warnings and created extra blank QBI records. Unnecessary warnings are now suppressed and blank QBI columns are no longer generated.

Reports & Exports

  • K-1 Line Item Summary Export — Fixed a SQL truncation error that caused the Excel export to fail for investments with long tag lists.
  • K-1 Income/Expense Summary — Fixed incorrect row ordering when selecting to include line item details in the report.

API

  • K1x API — Fixed an issue where TaxYear was missing from the JSON response under the Summary section.

Investment Import

  • Investment Import — Fixed a false "Successful Upload" notification that appeared when importing investments from Excel with missing required information. The system now correctly reports the import failure.
