K1 Aggregator - Release Notes
What Changed
- Form 8865 — Identifying Number Field — The "N/A" option has been renamed to "Other" and now displays a free-text input, allowing users to enter a custom identifying number. Leaving the field empty produces a blank PDF output instead of auto-filling "APPLD FOR."
Fixes (Bugs / Stability)
Federal Forms
- Form 8865, Transferee Information — EIN field now correctly maps to the downloaded PDF (field G1 → 2(a))
- Form 8865, Transfer Summary — The Form 8865 checkbox in the Transfer Summary grid now properly toggles between enabled and disabled states and persists after page refresh
- Form 8865, General Information — Added a data validation guard to the General Information data cleanup script to prevent failures on rows with malformed data
Reports
- K-1 Comparison Report — Line 21 (Foreign taxes paid or accrued) now displays correctly; fixed an issue where the foreign taxes value was incorrectly appearing under Line 20AW, and resolved broader value misalignment throughout the report
Foreign Disclosure Forms
- Foreign Forms PDF Generation — Resolved an issue where foreign forms failed to generate PDFs for certain engagements due to Instance Settings not loading properly
- Federal/State Taxable Income Tab — State K-1 data from the Reader now displays consistently across all investments in the Aggregator
