I am working in Schedule R, Part V and cannot get the table for Line 2 to open up. How do I make this show up?
Answer:
The table for Schedule R, Part V, Line 2, will only be displayed for qualifying events. The first line in the instructions says Line 2 is only applicable to organizations related to transactions it engaged in with a controlled entity of the filing org.
The trigger for this is based on the response to Form 990 Part IV, Lines 35a and 35b -or- Line 36. If 35a and 35b, or 36 are answered 'Yes', Line 2 in Schedule R Part V will open.
It appears this organization is not required to complete Sch R, Part V, Line 2, based on the options selected on Part IV.
