Search

ERROR:

The 'http://www.irs.gov/efile:DateOfIncorporation' element is invalid - The value '1889-03-11' is invalid according to its datatype 'http://www.irs.gov/efile:ALDateType' - The MinInclusive constraint failed. Pattern:[1-9][0-9]{3}\-.*

RESOLUTION:

Alabama does not accept Incorporation dates pre-1900. You will need to change the Incorporation year to 1900, and then resubmit your AL 20C.

Don't forget to change the Incorporation date back to the correct date after filing your Alabama return.
