How to Activate Form 3800 Part V

Based on the Form 3800 instructions, to complete Part V, the number of items in Line 6, column (c) must be greater than 1.

What is an Item?

Items counted in column (c) are determined by the number of "Activities" created in Part III.

For Part V "Breakdown of Aggregate Amounts" to be triggered, you will need to add at least two activities on Part III, with each activity populated with data from the same line.

Create Activities and Input Data

1. Open Form 3800 Part Part III-IV
2. Click on the 'Add Activity' button
3. Enter data for each activity on Part III
4. Save
5. View PDF to see Part V breakdown

In this example, both activities have data input on Line 1a. The aggregate amount from Part III, Line 1a is broken down by activity in Part V.
