How to Open Schedule C Part II-B in Your 990 Filing

Issue:

Schedule C, Part II-B is locked but I need to enter information in that section.

Solution:

To open Schedule C, Part II-B, you will need to select 'No' on form 990, Part IV, Line 4. When 'No' is selected, there will be an additional question shown.

The second question must be marked 'Yes' to open Part II-B.

1. Open Form 990 and go to Part IV.
2. Select 'No' on Line 4.
3. Answer the follow-up question by marking 'Yes' to unlock Part II-B.
