Hello! Please review the following changes that have been introduced as part of this K1x release.
990-Series Solutions
- 2023:
- 990-T Total Deductions: The value for Total Deductions on form 990-T has been adjusted to flow to state returns with better precision.
- 990 Part IV: Line 11e will no longer be checked 'Yes' when Part X, column (B), Line 25 is 0.
- State Instructions: Filing instruction formatting has been improved to eliminate overlapping text.
- Alabama: Form 20C will no longer be rejected when Schedule D-1 apportionment factor is 0.
- California:
- Unrelated debt financed income values on form CA 109, Schedule D have been adjusted for rounding to match values as reported on Federal form 990-T.
- Statements have been improved for Form 109, Part II, Lines 19 and 20 to allow entry of state values where different from federal.
- Nebraska: The tax rate has been adjusted for entities with income in excess of $100,000.
- New Mexico: CIT-1 validation has been modified to accommodate 0 for apportionment factors.
- Vermont: Vermont Non-Business income formatting has been adjusted to improve validation for electronic filing.
- 2024:
- 990-EZ: The pdf for Schedule A, Part I, Line 12 Type II will now be checked based on user input, as appropriate.
- Maryland: Self-prepared returns will no longer generate an e-file rejection referencing missing paid preparer information.
