K1 Creator

  • Improved K-1 Final/Amended Consistency Across Hierarchy

We've enhanced how Final and Amended K-1 selections behave across the entity structure to ensure consistency between the user interface and PDF.

Previously, selecting Final or Amended status at the Entity, Investor, or Jurisdiction level only impacted selections at other levels of the hierarchy on the PDF. Now, selecting Final or Amended at a higher level will automatically apply that selection to all relevant items below it in the hierarchy in the user interface as well:

    • Entity-level selections now update all investors and all applicable jurisdictions.

    • Investor-level All K-1s Final/Amended selections now update all jurisdictions for that investor.

We've also introduced visual indicators to make it clear when a Final or Amended checkbox is controlled by a higher-level setting. In those cases, the checkbox will appear checked and disabled (or unchecked and enabled, if not selected above), signaling that it's inherited rather than editable at that level.

  • Improved Display for Amount-Based Allocation Codes

To reduce confusion and align with expected formatting, amount fields for amount-based allocation codes no longer display decimal places.
