K1x Release: 990 Tracker - 07/29/2026
Check out the following changes that have been introduced as part of this K1x release.
990Tracker - Release Notes
What Changed
- Reports — Enhanced the E-File Report with faster loading for large datasets, additional columns (Submission ID, Submitted By, Firm Office, Organization ID, Paid Preparer Name, Engagement ID), a global search box, Year and Status filters, sortable columns, the ability to show/hide columns, and exports that reflect your current search and filter selections.
- Extension filings have been moved out of the main E-File Report into a new, dedicated Extension Report, giving firms a focused view of Form 8868 filings with the same search, filter, and export tools.
- Form 990, Schedule C, Part II-A — Affiliated Group Reporting — Added an "Include in Statements" checkbox and a Filing Organization designation for Lines 1a–1c, giving preparers control over which affiliated-group amounts flow into column (b) and the related Line 2c, Column (d) totals. This also resolves an issue where column (a) data was not flowing to column (b) when the Section 501(h) election was not selected, and ensures these selections persist correctly after saving.
- Capitalization Consistency — When the capitalization option is enabled, Federal Form 990/990-EZ/990-PF/990-T filings (and applicable schedules) now apply consistent capitalization across both the PDF and the e-file XML output.
- Dashboard Search — Dashboard search now supports partial matches and returns multiple results.
